Probably going to be around $60k for EVERYTHING... including honeymoon, tipping... everything involved. INSANE!

Ours is about $25,000...and we have a lot of perks which we are not paying for...

However it is on a Saturday night in June!

Lucky we have some help...we tried to keep the wedding small (100 people) and it still is costly.

TOO MUCH...we are young (21) and really don't have the $ to be spending like we are, but its our big day and we want it they way we want it, ya know? so if we stick to the budget it will be less than $25,000. so far so good. luckily his parents are giving us $10,000 toward the wedding as our gift, so the rest we are scrimping and saving for. $122 w/tax and grat, min 75 for a fri night in july at atlantis marine world aquarium. ~lacey

My reception is at the Chateau La Mer and for a Sunday night is $72pp. I think Saturday was $85 and you get sooo much!

Our will be about $32,000 and I think that is a lot...of course I come from a small town originally. We are having our reception at Westbury Manor for about $75 before tax and tip....$95/per after. Our band is our main expense (a 15 piece big band) but we have both really always imagined that so to us it is worth it.

Well my Budget was $20,000, but now we alreday at $30,000...

And we still have so much more to do

Limos
Tuxes
Flowers
Favors
Rehersal Dinner
Wedding Night Hotel
Honeymoon
Other things I am sure I am missing....

Our budget is absolute max 20K (we're paying for most of it ourselves). So far with projected costs and stuff we've actually booked, we're around 13-14K incl. HM and platinum and diamond wedding rings.

ETA we are having a smaller wedding also. About 100-120 guests.

FH and I bugdeted with about 500ppl to be $100,000...
.with my hall, caterer, dress, and all else included..hopefully we go over budget..our problem is that we both come from large families and we have limited it to 500 guests....it woud have been cheaper with less ppl..

It's scary that the cost of weddings equals a masters degree at a private university.

But, you can not look at it like that. This is our once in a lifetime ladies.

Wedding costs are very scary.

I am trying to do everything but dress, favors, HM, and invitations for under $20k.

I really do not want to spend on a wedding what I could buy a house for.

us too, we live in NYC and I was dead set on a Manhattan wedding until I realized that it would cost twice as much. we settled on LI and we're getting a great deal, but the logistics are a bit more complicated. good luck! FM if you want pricing details.
