How much time spent in a dress shop

How much time spent in a dress shop

I am going Feb 22 to one dress shop at 1pm in Queens and then i have an appointment with another dress shop in Queens at 4pm

I am thinking 2 hours in the first store. Is that enough time or should i make the 1pm appoinment earlier??

Well, I didn't have an appt. at davids, came, and picked and tried on 5 dresses, and that took me about 3 or 4 hrs there without anyone helping, so I would think 2 hrs with attendant's help is reasonable. I would come with pictures of what you are looking for to make life easier. But also keep in mind, that after my long visit, I had found 3 dresses that i liked, and finally chose one of them the next week.

I think 2 hours is good - you may want a bit of a break after that. But it's so much fun!!

i am so excited. i am going with my MOH, my mom and 2 BM's.

I have a picture of a dress that i am in love with. From the moment i saw it in the magazine i knew that was the dress. I hope it loves me just as much.

I am going in with an open mind. I will try on lots and see which one really makes me feel like a princess. Oh i hope its the one i am in love with

I am so excited

Melissa, I am so excite about dress shopping too. I just made an appointment with a dress shop on March 29th. I found two dresses that I love and I am going to fax them the pictures and they are going to see if they have that dress in stock, if so then they will have it available for me on March 29th.

Melissa: I spent 2 1/2 hours in Macy's. I think you'll be fine! I'm soooooo excited for you guys!! It is sooo much fun. I'm going again on Friday and I CAN'T wait!!!!!

Melissa, I did the same thing this past weekend - went to the store because the had THE dress...I tried it on and then about 5 more, and then tried it on again....its the one! And I know what you mean about it loving you as much as you love it....I was so afraid! But it loves me too!

I am going to Asini Bridal on Queens Blvd and I am going to E&J Bridal in Astoria on steinway.

I just have a gut feeling that this dress that i love is going to be 'the dress'

I called FI and I said as soon as he answered the phone I said 'I'm the Bride' he laughed.
