how often do u lie?

i dont lie persay but throughout the day i say a few things that r kinda fabricated..like when the boss asks how my day went ill say oh great blah blah even tho i wanted to bash my own head in, or a guy will ask oh y didnt u call me and i make it like oh i have been so busy blah blah even tho my a$$ is sitting in front of the tv all nite lol!!!

I do that all the time. I don't consider it lying just withholding the truth!

I'm sure we all do so I will have to say everyday.

I just lied two seconds ago when my boss asked if I was busy...OHHHH YEAHH!!!! WAY TO BUSY, PLEASE DON'T ASSIGN ME MORE WORK!!

I think all the little 'white lies' we have to tell in life is completely normal.. As Tourist said, esp at work I find myself lying (on behalf of my boss) ALL THE TIME , which some days really gets on my nerves But who hasn't had to make up excuses on behalf of our bosses, I suppose

But in my own life, avoiding phone calls and/or getting out of certain obligations from time to time is perfectly acceptable in my book. I don't truly consider it lying rather than making up excuses to avoid doing what you truly don't want to do

I have to lie everyday at my job.
I'm not to happy abou that. I help out answering the phone & have to lie about why people won't take phone calls.

When i was younger I used to lie all the time for the silliest things. Now I hardly ever consciously lie and I hate to do it. But I do catch myself in little white lies here and there throughout the day.

I lie to myself that I'm getting work done and being productive when I'm on LIW!

I tell an inconsequential white lie at least twice a day for work....'oh, that check was sent yesterday'....'we don't have those invoices, can you resend them'.....

At work once in a while when I dont have the energy to be 'bothered'.. I dont lie to family and friends.

I lie at work, because if I didnt sometimes I would never get things done, or because telling the truth would be be beneficial to the person at that time, but the truth will be told when its appropriate. I dont come out and lie directly most of the time, but I will choose to not volunteer certain information.

I CANT SAY WORK SO MUCH B/C I AM A SUBSTITUTE TEACHER AND I LOVE IT AND ENJOY IT!!

I lie to DH about shopping sometimes. I snuck some new clothes in just last week.
