How old are you parents?

After reading that thread about having babies, I saw that some people worry about their age. I thought, 'I wonder how old their parents are?' I am always interested to see if people with younger parents are the ones that want to be a younger parent and vice versa.

My parents are divorced, so here it is with my step-family too:

Mom: Turned 50 2 months ago
Step-Dad: 52

Dad: 49
Step-Mom 47

So, to me....they are young and were 23 when they had me. In my eyes, they were active, energetic and fun because they were young (NOT that parents who are older are any less of these things....just my personal experience). I have always wanted kids young and at this point, I'm passed the age I wanted to start so I'm ready when he is!!! But, I'm madly in love and know that God's plan was for me to wait around to meet my FH because he's the one for me!

I fit into the 'I want kids young because I watched my parents do it and like the idea' .......does this work for you?

My dad will be 61 on 8/8
My mom will be 58 on 9/17

My mom is 56
Daddy is 66

My mom had my brother at 25 and me at 30.

I want to have my first child around 27

Both of my parents are 62, turning 63 this year. I'm 27 (28 in November) and my sister turned 21 in May.

my parents are both 53.

im the oldest at 28 (well ill be 28 in about 12 days)
my bro will be 23 (in 2 days)
my sis is 20

there age never seemed to be a problem... although my dad keeps telling me to get married already because he needs 'financial relief'

Well my dad is 55 on august 4th, and my mom is 52.

She had me when she was 32, I was last of 3.

FH and I want to have kids early, so I want to start having kids when im 22-23.

I am 21 going to be 22 in Oct. so they were 28 and 28 when they had me (my moms bday is the day after mine so I was her present )

my mom had my older brother at 25 but they were married at 21 and 22. They waited a year to have kids and then tried and couldnt concieve. They took fertility drugs and popped out 7 kids!!!! lol

My parents get told all the time they dont look old enough to have 7 kids with the oldest being 24. But i guess they dont look as old as they are. But they def dont look 34 like one lady told my mom!!

my parents are both over 65
I believe my mom is 65 and my dad is 70 but i could be off a year on both of them, i get confused easily.

I'm 24... so i had older parents growing up.

My mom will be 63 and my dad will be 64! My parents werent sure if they wanted kids, so they waited until well into their 30's for me. I was a horrible child so needless to say I'm the only one :) I'm 29.

Mom: 62
Dad: 63

I am the youngest of 5 kids and I am 33. I consider my parents to be young when they started considering they had 5 kids by the time they were 29 and 30

My oldest sister is 41 almost the same age as some of your parents She looks young though!!

ETA: My parent's will be married 43 years on Aug. 22.

haha no there is only one set of twins in the family. My mom had my brother then me 2 years later and then my sister and brother (the one who passed away at 2 months) and then another sister 1 1/2 later. Then a brother 13 months later and then 7 1/2 yrs after my brother came another brother who is now 9.

So here is the line up:
Brother- 24
Me- 21 almost 22
Sister/Brother- turning 19 in Aug
Sister- 17
Brother- 16
Brother- 9

My mom is going to be 50 in September and my dad just turned 54. I'm 25 years old..
I always said that I wanted to have kids at a younger age too, so I can be able to run around with them and watch them grow up before old age sets in and we become immobile lol
