I was 11 years old when I found out because my mom friend across the street from us use to play Santa claus and one day i realized it was my uncle dominick and I was sooo upset.

Did anyone ever grow up near the old TSS in Elmont? Well my husband did and supposedly they used to fly Santa in via helicopter and land in the parking lot of what is now Home Depot. He says everytime he saw a helicopter from like age 2 to age 9 he would start screaming because he thought it was Santa!!!!

seriously, I don't think anyone ever TOLD me. I just grew out of it? I really cannot recall

I'm sure someone at school told me or my older brother But i remember I was rather young when i stopped believing, so it wasn't too tough to handle

2nd grade, I was 7, and a total believer, the day before we got out for christmas break, my teacher, Sister Flaviana, broke the news to the class, it was horrible, I still don't know why she did that
