Huntington Townhouse?

Help, I am trying to get feedback on the Huntington Townhouse, had heard good things but now I am seeing that the food is not great...the woman we met with did not offer to have us taste the food, also had no wedding album (all the other places we saw this week had them). Any feeback?

hmichick......

Do a search for Huntingtown Townhouse. We have discussed them before. The food is awful. I don't want to be too harsh in case there are any brides gettting married there. Lisa

Huntington Townhouse?

hmichick, Some of the ladies on this board have some pretty harsh things to say about the Huntington Townhouse. I know that I am in the minority, but I have been there and did not observe any problems with the food or service. I was a BM in a wedding where the ceremony and reception took place at the HT. I don`t recall any problems with the food or anyone complaining about it. I also don`t remember seeing any other wedding parties, although I now there were other weddings going on at the same time. There was a huge bridal suite outside of the room that the reception was held in that was used as a nursery since there were about 15 kids there! All in all, I think the wedding was very nice and my friend was very pleased. Happy planning! Becky

I didn't particularly like the food there. The service didn't seem great either. I would definitely keep looking. The inside wasn't too bad but not really my style.

Huntington Townhouse?

My former company holds their Christmas Party there every year and personally I do not care for the food. A friend of mine was there for a wedding in September and felt the same way.

Huntington Townhouse?

I don't mean to sound critical, but if you can AT ALL afford not to, do NOT go to the Huntington Townhouse! It was once very nice (about 20 years ago), but it's a cheap version of a wedding factory now, and it has a horrible reputation these days. Their service is horrible, the food terrible, and it's just a really tacky place. Much nicer places out there for NOT much more money. Good luck, and I apologize for such negative feedback.

Thank you all so much for all of your feedback. Honestly, my instincts told me that the price was too good and there had to be a reason why. You guys saved me from a decision I would have regretted-I will let you all know where the wedding ends up!

I posted about HT a few months ago and I think if you go and Search the old postings you will get alot of information about them. They weren't any good responses about that place. Keep searching and good luck ;)

Huntington Townhouse?

I was just at the Huntington Townhouse this past September 2001. While the decor is not exactly to my liking, the food was really good. Just to let you all know that maybe they got a new chef or something, but I'm picky about what I eat, and everything was wonderful.
