Hypothetical Situation

I can answer this with some experience as my DH's job has sent us to Ireland for 18 months, although not at triple his salary . Moving to another country is harder than you can imagine, especially if you are close to your family (which I am). Being in Ireland is difficult enough, I can't imagine going someplace where not only is the language foreign but the way of life is too. I don't think any amount of money would be worth going someplace like Africa, the Middle East or the Former Soviet Union where your safety would be an issue.

If Iw as making $50,000 and would increase to $150,000 yes, Iwould probably do it, life is about learning and such and if i loved my job , why not go somewhere else to do it?

If I hated my job, which I do then no amount of money could get me to even move to say Newark...
