I am doing what I always say a bride-to-be shouldn't

Original post by Kristina2009

I am having second thoughts about my dress choice and driving myself nuts. I meant to go simple and went elaborate/satin/beaded! I have no pictures of me in it so I can't even remember how it fits on me. I should be in very late this year. I just want to get these thoughts out of my head asap and rock that dress!!!

Why oh why am I doubting things now . . . :(

I want to stop!

it is ok to have these feelings, and it is most likely because you forgot what your dress looks like on you.

My advice, and this is what I did as well, make an appt to go try on your dress once more. And take pictures.

You'll know if its the one as soon as you put it on again.

Good luck!

OH MY GOD, you have got to be kidding! I am a dress junkie and I just looked at yours....it is amazing! And I love love love the trumpet shape. When you try that dress on for your first fitting it will all come rushing back to you why it was the one. It really is a phenomenal dress, have fun in it!

i think everyone does this at one point or another.... because we put so much pressure on ourselves to find 'the' perfect dress when there may be more than one perfect dress for us out there!

i love mine but i ordered it pretty early in the process so i'm worried i'm going to feel like that at some point- so i'm trying NOT TO LOOK

and really, how often do you see a woman on her wedding day, done up and beaming- and you think 'ugh, she just looks awful!' ok, maybe once or twice we have lol but MY POINT IS with your dress you will NOT be that girl!!

Don't doubt it!!!!!! Maybe you could find another store that has the sample to try it on again?

I have to be honest. I cancelled 2 dresses beofre finally deciding on the one I have. Sometimes, you allow other people to influence what you want or sometimes you just get caught up in the moment of being in a wedding dress. So, it has been my experience that they are very kind to brides about these sort of things and will probably even let you try your dress on again if you tell them you are having some doubts. Chances are you'll put it on and love it again. Worst case senario...you find out you dont love it and look for a new one (if it's not too late to cancel).

Either way, GOOD LUCK!

I have been doubting mine lately too..to the point where I called up the store and asked if I can put my deposit towards another dress..they said yes so that only makes it worse...ahh why do we do this to ourselves? Now I can't stop looking at dresses!

Your dress is amazing do not worry you are going to fall all over again when you see it. The dress is 'Rockstar' which how you should fell on your day.
