I am having 2nd thoughts about my reception hall, I wonder

if I can change it in 6 months.
This would be the 2nd time. It makes me crazy, but Im not sure.

No problems with the hall, Im just having second thoughts. I already cancelled one place before. I think I will go catering hall shopping tomorrow.
I booked the Stewart manor Country Club and now Im not sure

I dont know, I have heard nice things abot SMCC. But I want to make sure, I keep thinking everyone will think it ****s.

Well, what is the reason you went with them in the first place, you must've seen something that you did not at other halls.

Whens your wedding? Did you put a deposit ?

Oh yeah, wedding is in June. Deposit was for $400, We already cancelled one place. Originally it was a Bridgeview Yacht Club.

I liked Stewart manor because it was simple and one wedding at a time.

But Im not sure becasue I dont hear to many people booking it for their wedding.

wacky, that doesnt mean anything around here. WE are a small population of people actually getting married in LI. Anyway, you should be so happy that you are not the 'norm'
For instance, not too many Brides here are getting married at Fox Hollow, but I know that is an awesome place. Know what I mean?

Don't do anything wacky! You picked Stewart Manor for a reason, trust your instincts. I get that way too every once in a while about my choices, but I have to remind myself that I pick things for a reason and I have to learn to have enough faith in myself to trust my own choices.
If you don't hear too much about Stewart Manor take it in a good way, your place has a bit of uniqueness to it, maybe it will be a new experience for most of your guests.

If i can help at all I sure will try. I got married at smcc in November and it was the best! I had doubts too before the wedding because it wasnt very heard of and smaller than most places my friends got married at...I am so happy with my choice though...it was so unique and elegant. And your going to adore James (your maitre'd) he was the best. Please have no doubts cause you should just go with your instincts. Yes this was only my experience but I just want to make you feel confidant with your choice. Smcc is absolutely gorgeous! You will not be unhappy at alll..just relax and enjoy your planning..everyone will be talking about your wedding forever..they did with mine! Good luck!

I am one of few Coral House brides and I like it, thats all that matters.

Stewart Manor Country club is beautiful, I was at a wedding there last year.

Don't worry about using a vendor that a lot of girls on here aren't using. I have yet to find more than one other bride using my photographer! That is what makes our weddings unique. For you to have gone to all the trouble to cancel the first hall and book this one, you really must have liked it.
