My Mom asked me to call the Huntington Hilton (where we have our room block) and make reservations for us for the night before the wedding (we're getting ready there).

I call and asked them if it would be a problem if we had a dog in the junior suite. They inform me that THEY ARE NO LONG A PET FRIENDLY HOTEL.

what?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I'm like, 'Are you kidding?! That's why we booked with you!! Why didn't I get any notification??'

The man was very apologetic and transferred me to the head sales rep who was in a meeting, so I got her voicemail.

I am SEETHING! WTH am I going to do?? The family dog is diabetic and needs shots twice a day. There's no way we can leave him at home!!

I don't know what to do. You think they'll make an exception for my dog?? He's good I promise! Ugh

As I was hoping, they are allowing me to bring my dog! The woman on the phone was very sweet and there was no trouble at all. She is reserving some rooms for me as we speak! YAY!

Thank you all so much for your help! I was almost in tears because of how quickly you ladies were willing to help me take care of Max. I love you guys so much!

I'd just sneak him in most hotel have a side entrance. Is he small?? could he be put in a big cage while your not in the suite?

I'm so glad to hear you were able to resolve this. I was married in June and had my cat at the hotel with me. I love him! He's my little monster! We had a similar incident. When we arrived with the cat they tried to tell me i couldn't' have him there. But we already knew we were going to pay an extra $100 just for him to be there. I had to put him in my parents room b/c they didn't allow pets in the bridal suite! But when we booked they said we could have him. This drives me nuts! We have a giant dog crate for him. He has all he needs - a bed, liter box and 2 bowls with room to move! He's a traveling kitty. AND I CAN'T LIVE W/O HIM! lol
