I just asked my boss if I could leave 30 minutes early to attend a wake and he said, if this this and this is done, ok. Would he not let me if I didn't change his diaper before I left? Then he went on a rampage about how a package didn't get someplace and it's my fault (I have proof through the fed-ex slip that I sent it and that it was signed for). He yelled at me in front of the entire office and said I have terrible follow through skills. Then walked away from me.

I really wish I could just walk out of here an never come back.

you should put crazy glue on his coffee mug so when he sips his coffee he glues his mouth to the cup and he wont be able to yell at you again.

Some people are so insensitive.

I'm appalled...he is so unprofessional!!

but as bad as he is...do NOT walk out...I know you probably want to turn your back on the company...but do not burn bridges...you really NEVER know when you'll need them...

at least you could say that your boss was unprofessional and you gave your notice...not that you walked out...

I would definitely talke to HR!! don't let him get away with this!!

but know that the reason he treats you poorly, is b/c he has no self-confidence of his own and must push people down so that he looks a little taller...

You good cause I would have jumped up and yelled right back at him in front of everyone!! How DARE he do that to you!!!

What do you do?? I'm a manager for a Commercial building and we are always looking for people!

i'm sorry your boss is a jerk. i had one of those once. this miserable nasty woman was unhappy in her life and was determined to take everyone down with her. anyway, i wouldn't walk out though, unless you have another job lined up or you have enough money to last a while. it's practically impossible to find a job right now. hang in there!
