i forgot my Ering today...

i forgot my Ering today...

as i pulled away in my car today i realized i wasn't wearing my e-ring. but i was already out of the house, and i figured one day was no big deal.

i can't believe how much i missed it!! not only did my ring finger feel completely naked, but i REALLY NEEDED IT!! i was at one of my accounts and this really icky dude was hitting on me HARD CORE. i guess i took for granted that for the last 9 months i have been able to flash my hand in a guy's face and make it clear that i am spoken for. instead, i had to put up with this nasty guy oggling me and i couldn't say anything!!

when i came home i put my ring on immediately and blew kisses at it.

i love you, Ering...i'll never forget you again!!

I totally know what you mean. The other day I went to go by flowers and bushes so I didnt want to wear my ring. I locked it in my jewelry box and hid it in my draws covered with clothes. FH was laughing at me. I think I would die if I lost my ring. Plus the whole time i was gone I kept looking at my finger...so weird.

i've done that too! and it does feel naked without it...and i kept getting'wheres your ring, are you still engaged questions' and I've noticed that i get hit on less frequently when im wearing it which is nice, if i forget it one day,....im not used to the attention..and usually im repulsed by it!!

Thats the worst!! I've done it once or twice and both times (even though I knew EXACTLY where I had left it), I had mini panic attacks!

Although I dont wear my Ering to work, I know what u mean. I am constantly checking for it and i get worried for a second and think 'where is it??'

i went to get my nails done today and left it home and the entire time i was flipping out bc I was afraid it would disappear...

I even called my mom ( knowing she was home for lunch) and asked her to check on it!

I know exactly how you feel. I took my ering on frida to get cleaned and 2 of my stones were loose so I dont have have ring until Saturday

I forgot my e-ring one day also and I was at work and I was so distracted cause I kept thinking it was missing, and then I'd remember that I forgot it at home. I was just a mess all day. My co-workers kept telling everyone that I wasnt functioning properly cause I didnt have my e-ring. People probably thought I was a moron. LOL
I havent forgotten it since that day.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I am freaking out right now because I want to go to the beach in the morning, and I'm afraid to wear it there... but then I don't want to leave it at home! I don't know what to do!! This is the first beach day since I got engaged too, lol

i don't wear mine to the beach..im afraid of losing it..so i keep it hidden at home (its a secret hidding spot no one would ever think to look) but i want to wear mine to the beach too! i want to get a tan line from it! i think thats sweet!

I probably dont wear my ring more than i actually wear it so i commonly forget it. i only wear it when i am going out and will not need to use my hands for anything, i never wear it to work, sleep, shower, dishes, beach, hiking....

And when i do wear it, it dosent keep the boys away, I dont think they all understand the concept of ring=taken. Then again, alot of women wear fashion rings in their finger so i guess its hard for them to tell anyways. Especially since usually if they are looking at you, they are not engaged or married so they never analyzed what an E-ring should look like.

I also thing that men that are rude enough to growl and whistle at girls don't even bother to look at their fingers..their gross and offensive eyes are elsewhere!
