I had my shower yesterday!!

I had the most incredible day yesterday. I was so worried that I because I knew I would not be able to pull off the look of surprise but my mom threw in a few kinks to knock me off track and I really had doubts that yesterday was the day. For example, last weekend she made me go out with her and find a perfect outfit for this weekend and when I arrived at the house she was wearing an old outfit and said she was wearing the other outfit today for a baby shower. I really could not believe it and I actually thought it was not yesterday. But they did get me to Jonathans on Jericho turnpike and it was so nice. All of my friends and some family were there. The food was fantastic, there was like 4 or 5 choices. I was so overwhelmed that I don't even remember what the choices were. They had a champagne toast and a cake. My friends got me a wishing well and filled it up, I also got tons of beautiful presents, some off my registry, some not but even the ones not on the registry were beautiful. My MOH planned bridal bingo and a word game and gave out prizes. My FH knew about it but was so good and tried to knock my off track. He and my dad, my ffil and some other men relatives showed up later. It was so nice to have him there to share in the wonderful day. That is it for now, but I know what you girls mean when you say it GOES WAY TOO FAST!!! It was over too soon but I had the most incredible day and am now on cloud nine. If anyone wants a great place for food and fun, try Jonathans. (and NO I am not a vendor for jonathans ) I just wanted to share!!!!

Tell us about your favorite gifts, I loved my shower. It was one of my favorite parts of the whole engagment. Now you get to play with all of your new stuff!
