I hate my e-pics...Updated with Link to Pics

ok so i posted earlier today that i was going to pick up my e-pics....well i hate them and i am so upset about it

we took like tons of pics and they give you 45 of those. I really only like a few all of which are us like in the distance.

some i hate bc my hair looks terrible or i think i look fat so that is not a reflection of the photographer. However, theres a lot that we are making funny faces or in the most awkward positions so im trying to figure out why those pics were included in our 45. I guess the rest were soo bad that these were really the best ?!?!?! Otherwise I am not sure why he would include most of the pictures.

now i am torn about what to do...i had planned on using the pics for our STDs and our table #s.

i can probably pick one for the STD, but would it be weird to use a pic of us in a distance rather than a closeup?

the table #s i will have to scratch bc i dont like enough pics to do even half the # of tables we will have. maybe we will do something penn state related since thats where we met or use our puppy...ill figure it out.

i wanna cry right now

EDITED: Ok i wasn't going to post these bc i really am not crazy about how i look in them, but i guess i wanna see what you ladies think and if you think theres one i can use for my STD.

I dont think theres anything wrong with using all distant pics.

Maybe you can alternate a few pic for the table #s (they dont have to be different for each table...i doubt any one will go from table to table n check)

Try and make the most of them....when life gives you lemons....

I'm sorry... I would ask to see the rest of the pictures... tell them you aren't happy and maybe they will work with you.

I agree! You have Duet so I think they are really understanding.

That is so disappointing!! We are using Duet also. If I were you, I would talk to them and tell them exactly what your unhappy about. This may avoid some disappointments on the big day. Who are you using?

TJ...i mean i think the quality of the pics is great we really liked him....its just like i said a bunch i dont like bc my hair looks like a hot mess and what not....its just that i wish i had more to choose from. I am not very photogenic so maybe i am making weird faces and stuff in all the pics but i am just upset bc i wish i could see what the others look like.

aw, I'm so sorry you don't like your pics. Do you and your FH have pictures of you two throughout your dating years that you can use for your table numbers?

I think it's okay to use one of the distant pics for your STD's.

Why don't you ask them for all the photo's if they still have them? Our photog gave us all the pics they took, we got 178 pics.

aww im so sorry that you dont like them...
of course you can use the distant ones for your std. i like that idea. you definitely should include pics of your puppy for your table numbers
maybe you should call duet and they will let you see the other pictures.

im soooooo sorry you feel this way!!!!! first, i would ask to see all the pics and explain how you are feeling. maybe you might like some of the others. who knows.

as for the distance pics for the stds, i think it can TOTALLY work...you just need to be creative with the layout. for example, instead of an std with just a small pic of the 2 of you close-up, you can actually make the entire pic the STD.....since you are in the distance, i imagine there is space around you guys in teh pics to lay out the wording. give it a try. or have duet help you design an std if they will.

Im sorry to hear this. Can you schedule a re take? My photographer said we could if we dont like our pics (took them last week when there was on and off rain showers) we can take them over. You should call your photograoher and voice your opnion. Maybe they'll be able to give you more of the pics taken or take a few more of you guys. Good luck!

aww i'm sorry!!!! i would call your photographer and tell them you are not happy. you don't want to use pics you hate on something for the wedding. i'm sure they will be accomodating.

aww, maybe youre just being super critical of yourself. i hate pics of myself too.
but if youre really unhappy, try calling Duet. theyre so sweet and professional, im sure they can work something out with you!!

When I first got my epic proofs back, I hated a lot of how I looked. Then it grew on me. Don't forget, digital is very UNFORGIVING and needs edits.
I did a semi-distant shot. If it's a good shot, why not?

Also, this was a good lesson to you on how to pose for wedding. How you pose makes a huge difference in body appearance.

I am so sorry you don't like your pictures. CALL Duet. They will work something out with you. No one wants the bride to be unhappy about her engagement pictures.

Ask to see the other pictures... and just relax. Ask someone you trust to look at the pictures, they'll will have a different perspective and that may help.

I had a hard time picking my Duet photographer and when I was picking eric told me that if I was not happy with my e-shoot that I could pick another photographer

I am soooo sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. Maybe you're being too critical though, have you asked objective parties for their opinions? People who you know will be honest, of course.
