ok so i posted earlier today that i was going to pick up my e-pics....well i hate them and i am so upset about it
we took like tons of pics and they give you 45 of those. I really only like a few all of which are us like in the distance.
some i hate bc my hair looks terrible or i think i look fat so that is not a reflection of the photographer. However, theres a lot that we are making funny faces or in the most awkward positions so im trying to figure out why those pics were included in our 45. I guess the rest were soo bad that these were really the best ?!?!?! Otherwise I am not sure why he would include most of the pictures.
now i am torn about what to do...i had planned on using the pics for our STDs and our table #s.
i can probably pick one for the STD, but would it be weird to use a pic of us in a distance rather than a closeup?
the table #s i will have to scratch bc i dont like enough pics to do even half the # of tables we will have. maybe we will do something penn state related since thats where we met or use our puppy...ill figure it out.
i wanna cry right now
EDITED: Ok i wasn't going to post these bc i really am not crazy about how i look in them, but i guess i wanna see what you ladies think and if you think theres one i can use for my STD.
I think your pics are great!!!! I would use them for STD and other wedding things.

I think that the pics came out great! I really like 19, 27, and 31. The others I couldn't remember the #. I had a hard time 'liking' my pics too. I think everyone is is their own toughest critic. The pics that you have are so usable for STDs etc... Also, it's hard to look at them on your own computer b/c the images are blurred and distored b/c the camera that they use is way better in quality then a regular computer screen. So they don't look clean and crisp like you expect them too. I think that they are wonderful!

Honestly, I think they're great artistic shots for a magazine but I don't think they're appropriate for an engagement photo shoot. Most of the pics do not capture the love you and FH share, and in some of them, you look downright angry with each other. I am only being blunt bc I wouldn't want you to hate your wedding photos. I don't want to lie and say I love them, when I really don't think they are great engagement photos. However, there are definitely a couple to choose from for your STDs, like where you guys are facing each other and hugging and a couple others as well.. or even the one of your hands. But if you're this unhappy now, I would do some soul searching to decide if you want to use them for your wedding. The deposit money is nothing when you compare it to having your wedding photos forever.

OMG your pictures are great!!! I don't think your hair looks bad or you look fat in ANY picture! I would have a hard time choosing a STD pic if I were you! Don't stress they are really nice!

Kelley, you look beautiful.
I am not a fan of the pics in the subway, but the ones outside in Central Park are wonderful. Some of them are a little far away... but you have plenty of gorgeous close up shots.
HOWEVER, if you are still unhappy with them... let Duet know. You need to live with these pictures, we don't. Don't settle for something just because it got the 'LIW' stamp of approval.

please don't get mad-this is jmo..but i feel as if they could have done a much better job based on other pics of theirs that i have seen-a photographer should be able to get the best angles of you, especially when you're posing for things..and a lot of the pics are very far away, or focused on random things, like your shoe and your jeans..there are some very nice ones (i agree that the central park ones are the best), but i would honestly see if theres anything duet could do-maybe you could even retake them? and i dont think it's you..they got such awkward shots of you..

Sorry I didn't see who your photographer was before posting. So please - Duet brides do not take offense!! I've seen plenty of Duet pics that I've loved so I don't think these pics speak for the entire company. You may want to change the specific photographer and go with a different Duet photog if you don't like this one's style. See my above post for further input.

I'm going to give my honest opinion
there are some GREAT shots and you both look great.
I love the bridge pictures!!! and the lake!!! ohhh honestly I thought they were beautiful.
ps. did you think about calling them to see if you can take a look at all the pics they shot?
