I wanted something simple but elegant and also found the invitations to start to look the same. I went to kathy from follow your heart (vendor on here) and she was so helpful in narrowing down our choice. This is the one we chose:
They came last week and turned out great

Those are really pretty. I love the red. They kind of look like mine but I never thought to put a different color writing! BTW. I just ordered mine a few weeks ago.

dont worry I just got mine.. Attached is a picture. (we have different font though and the writing is brown) I had a hard time finding something I liked as well. Dont worry you will. Mine is William Arthur and they came in in a week once I approved the proof!

I have been dropping my invitation lady's name all over the place and I guess I'll do it again.

She really helped my combine a few styles I liked to come up with a custom invite for 1/2 the price they charge in the stores or online.

Her name is Maryellen and I just emailed her some pictures and she sent me a few samples. We worked from there and I'm on the final stages now.

I can post them but they would be in B&W. I don't have a color scanner at work.

I hated everything i saw. So I found a designer in Seattle over the internet that custom made me what i saw in my head - and she was MORE reasonable than half the stuff i saw.

Everything is super creative and unique - exactly what i was looking for!

I feel your pain! I was in the same exact boat as you...I just couldn't really get into it. But I had ordered a bunch of samples and went to look at a few books and narrowed it down to like 10 that I liked and then formed a committee (mom, sis, dad, FH, and Grandma) and let them have at the pile. THey all really liked one and we ordered it. I am very happy with it. I put the order in this morning.
