I hope this wasn't anyone's BM from here.

My BM and I were in NYC having her dress fitted. We chatted a little with BM that was being fitted before my friend. Small talk. I asked her when the wedding was. She didn't know the date. Just that it was in the beginning of October (of 2004 ). I suggested a couple dates that it could be and she was completely blank. She had no idea. For the bride's sake, I hope she went home and checked the date.

Maybe she was just having one of those days... I hope so any way for the brides sake.
At least she remembered to go get fitted for her dress

Someone once about 6 months ago asked my FH where we were getting married and he said St. Mels at 5 oclock.
Ummmm we are getting married at St. Lukes at 3 oclock

My MOH knows the date, but for the life of her can't get the name of the hall...thank god all she had to do is show up at my place, and from there shes got a ride lol

Im not suprised some bm's just are not interested w/ the wedding they are going to be in, its really not right, but it happens. I can think of one of my bms that would probaly not remember the date either.

Oh, she also wanted the seemstress to change the neckline of the dress. The dress was a strapless chocolate brown Vera Wang. It went straight across, like most strapless dresses do. She wanted her to pinch it like a sweetheart. Did the seemstress think that the bride would mind. (OF COURSE the bride would mind.) The seemstress, bless her heart, wouldn't do it and was so tackful about it.
