...but I just finished a trial for Sonicstef's (and many other's) placecard candles and it was sooooooooooooooooo time consuming. I don't think I'm gonna make them. Does anyone have a template I could use that is in MS Word and not MS Publisher? And I went to Michael's and they sell the Vellum by THE SHEET!!!! there must be a better way to do this Thanks!!

OK Stef Thanks, I'll cut them on my own-I don't think it's a major project, but I could be wrong. Let's see

Don't forget to add the additional hour everytime someone decides to 1. RSVP late 2. Bring a different guest 3. Bring an EXTRA guest
And then you have to fish out the ones you jus finished, rip off the vellum, repeint a new strip, and redo it.

Regarding the font: I used Copperplate Gothic I wanted something scripty, like Bickham, but I remembered hearing the coordinator at Stef's wedding saying that the scripty font was hard for the guests to read when they were all lined up.

Kari-Baby...
Go to the following website, I found vellum at the following site & I paid $13.99 for 100 sheets of translucent paper I used for my programs.
Ok I am lost here! How the heck do you cut the vellum? I dont get the whole cut it for each candle thing. I am NOT a creative person, I need this spelled out for me big time. THANKS LADIES!

Hey girls, here's a site where you can get votive holders on sale:
another idea for place cards is have the bakery make them out of white chocolate and write the guests names on it with icy. its a good idea if you are having a winter wedding. i am considering it for mine.
