I'm honeymooning in HAWAII !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited, we finally decided !!!!!!!

We're going to Maui for 6 nights, and staying at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, the Most Hawaiian Hotel, they call it !!!!!!!!!
We will explore Maui, and do all the 'hawaiian' things like hula, luai's, and of course we'll be watching the sunsets, snorkeling, kayaking, exploring and anything else that is fun !!!!!!!!

Then we're going to Kauai for 4 nights, and stepping it up a notch by staying at the Hyatt Regency Kauai resorty and spa.
We will be relaxing and getting spa treatments, and hanging out in the pool !!!!!!

Then we'll have to leave paradise and come back home


I'm so happy !!!!! If anyone has any input on these islands or resorts, I'll be happy to hear !!!!!

Teri, my TA says that the Hyatt is Premier in Kauai. Close to everything, yet so romantic and top notch !!!!! Did you see their website?
The spa treatments are endless !!!! Even Len is excited about getting his treatments !!!!

Yep! I'm so excited to go I can hardly wait. The pics on their website are beautiful!

The Hyatt has been listed in Conde Naste's travel magazine as one of the top resorts and spas in the world!

Even more, this is all new to me and FH - a usual vacation for me is to go skiing - we've never even been to the Carribean! People are amazed when I get all excited about the swim-up bar!!! LOL

Well, the plans are finalized !!!! I'm so happy !!!!
But whoa, what along flight !! First 6 hours to Cali, then another 5 1/2 to Hawaii. I'm leaving here at 8 am, and arriving in Hawaii at 4:23, thats 10:23 our time !!!!!! 14 hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrads....I am also going to Hawaii in October. I can give you a full review when I get back (Grand Wailea in Maui and Hyatt in Kauai). As the day closer I get more and more excited.

Yeah I was thinking it would be way too expensive, thats why i wast thinking about costa rica but those little planes scare me, not that the long flight from here wont be bad...hmmmm

We are staying 11 days, 10 nights. Including all air fare(includes interisland) and a midsize rental for each island, breakfast every morning in Maui only.
Staying at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel in Maui (moderately priced) for 6 nights and Hyatt in Kauai for 4 nights (very expensive).
We decided to stay at a less 'glamourous' hotel in Maui to offset the price, especially since there are soooo many activities in Maui that we won't be indoors too much. We did opt for a Jr. Suite at KBH though.
Kauai is more of a beautiful natural island, and we figured by that time, it'll be time to relax and enjoy the spa treatments, so we'll go all out the last four nights.

We are paying appox $5700
Unfortunately, this doesn't include dinner, which is pretty expensive in Hawaii.
Also, we will have to pay for all our spa treatments which range anywhere between $65 and $250 at the Hyatt.

But hey, it's our honeymoon, so let's enjoy !!!!

Hi Ladies !!!
I once again changed my mind about my hotel. Thanks to Michelle and her TA ( metphan), I found a GREAT deal where I will stay at the Hyatt in both Maui and Kauai, breakfast each morning for the entire honeymoon, and a midsize rental, and all my flights -- for $5500, that's a couple hundred less expensive than me staying at the KBH, which is not as nice as the HYATT !!!!
