I'm Sharing My Opinion

I really don't like when threads are locked. We're not 5 years old. Shouldn't people get their opinions out and just maybe resolve things?

I just wanted to say while it was not right for Corinne to call Michi a tramp, it wasn't nice for Michi to call people prudes who don't feel like reading about sex on these boards. If there is a board to talk about it, the Off-Topic board is apparently the board to do it.

No one should assume people who don't want to talk about sex wants to talk about rainbows and unicorns. I talk with my friends about sex and worse than what I read on here.

If people don't feel like reading about sex, as with any other topic, no one makes them read the thread. You're right, it doesn't make them prudes either. Some days i'm in the mood for that stuff, some days i'm not, and I read and post accordingly.

There was no need for Michi to be called names. She is a lot of fun and very sweet! She spices up the boards and makes my work day a heck of a lot more interesting!

I also don't like when threads are locked, but I believe the originator of the thread can request to have this done, which is their right when a thread gets so out of hand.

Welcome to the world of the internet forum. Closing threads is the PROPER way to do it.

Ron IMO is finally on the ball with this and I applaud him.

If any of you actually KNEW Michelle, you would realize she is probably one of the nicest people I've ever met. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and is a sweetheart

Before anyone dares to pass judgement on someone's character purely based on the posts they make on a chat forum, perhaps you should think about how hurtful it can be and keep their thoughts to themselves

You don't have to like her posts -- but calling her a slut and tramp is HIGHLY offensive

I couldnt agree more. To call someone WHO YOU DONT EVEN KNOW a tramp is pretty low.I know her personally and she is one of the sweetiest people I met. IMO if you dont like a thread noone is holding a gun to your head telling you to read it.

I doubt highly that everyone on this site reads every post that is posted. I know I dont. I like Michi's threads, they keep the board hopping and makes the day go by quickly and yes alot of people respond to them.

I view LIW the same as I do TV. If I don't want to watch porn I don't turn on the Playboy channel (or Cinemax after 10pm). If I don't want to read a thread about sex I skip it. It really is that simple. As Violet pointed out none of us are 5 yrs. old. I think that we should be able to police ourselves.
