Stop answering his phone calls, and try your hardest not to await them. If he calls, so be it, grow yourself a back bone, and let him experience VOICE MAIL. He has you wrapped around his finger at this point. I feel it, and thats what my gut tells me. I could be wrong, but damnitt if I am, he better wake up and smell the coffee. He also sends e-mails to my job? I really do beleive this will work but when he does call let him go to VM and then call him later?? I dont want to shut him off completely without warning?? Is that wrong, I am in confusion like you could not beleive

Let him go to voice mail. Call him back when you sound busy (i.e. walking and out of breath , somewhere loud, from a girlfriends house, shopping). Sound busy and don't sound pathetic.
Call back and say: 'hey, sorry I missed your call. So and so and I were out for lunch'. 'How are you?'.
It will eat him up!

I dont quite know the ENTIRE story, just the basic few that I read on here, but from what I remember- YOU were in the wrong. I personally thing that if you were the one that hurt him, you shouldnt block HIM out of YOUR life ???

It's not suprising that you'd want to do everything to please him.. I'm sure that you feel guilty about the previous situation and feel the need to 'make it up to him.' But there comes a point when someone can begin to take advantage of that. I dont know your exact situation, so I don't know where that line is drawn...

But my advice to people in similar situations has always been.... Something happened in your relationship. You can't go back and change it. So, now you both have to decide what you to do from here. You've made your decision (i.e., you want to be with him). Now he needs to decide if he can deal with what happened and move on or not. Because it's not fair for him to hang this over your head forever.... and you can't spend the rest of your life trying to make it up to him (you don't deserve that!). I think that he DOES want to be with you, from what you've told us, so he honestly just needs to HEAL and MOVE ON. This shouldn't be something that's constantly brought up in arguments and fights... he should know that it happened, and move past it.

Honey, don't ignore him. Just let him wait a bit. Let him WAIT for once. Believe me you, once you call.....he'll answer right away, and try to be all cool.NEVER shut him off. You love each other, it's clear! Just don't be so ready to answer his calls. Men play these games, and he's making you pay for a 1 second kiss.Stop!!!! Breathe!!!! And just know you guys were meant to be together. Thats all. Plain and simple. And when he emails you......Get back to him later. NOT righty away. I'm 1000 percent behind you, so whenever you wanna talk........... Here I am. It's gonna take some time, but rest assured, loves always prevails. This bullsh!t inbetween, is what makes you grow stronger. And stp with givin him your bootie, we all have our needs, but he needs to wait untill he can reassure you that AT THE VERY LEAST you will be a couple.

Oh, and my other advice. Listen to Dave Matthew's 'The Space Between.' It might help!

Beautifully said!!!! See.....you'll be in ship shape in NO time. Easier said than done, cause us girls aren't feeling your pain,, but absense does make the heart grow fonder.

Soooo TRUE!! When Will and I broke up for a year...he wanted nothing to do with me until I stopped being so available. I got a life of my own...then he was calling regularly! Now look at us! We're thrilled with eachother and getting married in less than a year! Absence makes the heart grow fonder. . .

Thats what men want...us to sit there and pine over them! I've been there...oh man its such a crappy feeling!! I truly think he loves you and wants you to be his just slow down and dont be at his beck and call!! He will soon realize he misses and wants you back!!

I am well I have had my freaking aunt flow for three weeks I have migrains but thanks to excedrin they are alot better, the love of my life is making me nutz, I cant go to the bathroom without starting a colon cleanse. But all else is good. Oh yea, and I am breaking out!
