Re: I need computer help!
OK heres the update. The PC with the IP 69... was the old computer, not used for something else. Brad helped me and that is the IP address we get using my modem only and not the router. The router is supposed to have a 198 IP address. Right now I am on the new computer that previously had the 198... it is now 69. We tried everything and the conclusion is the ROUTER IS BROKEN! Manual reset does not work, and when I plug in only 1 ethernet wire, 2 ports are lit up So I am gonna have to call linksys next or just buy a new router.

one other thing you can try is connecting the router using different ports, usually when your setting it up you use ports 1&2 if you have two computers try using 1&4 or 3&4 maybe its just a bad port on the router

No problem Julie! I wish it could have actually been fixed, but hopefully it will soon.
Now he gets to go wait for AAA to give our car a jump..nothing seems to be working correctly right now!

Re: I need computer help! UPDATE
Port 1 lights are always on, no matter what other port I try to use. I tried 2/3, 2/4, 3/4. Only 1 computer works. the one that works has the 69.. ip address. The one with 198 never works. When I try Port 1, the computer says there is no connection. I am going to call their tech service today to see what they say.
