Hmmmmm, sounds strange to me - but then again he is a male. All you can do is wait for some kind of an explanation and hope it comes soon!!! ARe you sure the drama was about his sister, or maybe his ex is somehow involved? I know this feels pretty lousy right now. I feel bad that he is pulling this crap - he should know better.

I think you should give him the benefit of the doubt. I do think this guy really does like you and it sounds like you guys have spent some really wonderful time together. There is something that is going on with him and his family that might have him a little preoccupied at the moment and maybe he is just trying to get it resolved quickly and not get too many poeple involved. I say give it through one more weekend to see if he does call, when he does I am sure he will fill you in on what is going on which will help put your mind at ease. If he does not call, well thne you can start the process of moving on knowing that you can open up and you can love again. I think that last part is a wonderful silver lining no matter the outcome.
I hope this all works out for you, you desrve some happiness.

well the day i talked to him i kno the drama was about his sister (i cant talk about the issue its highly private that he confided in me) but who knows what drama he had over the weekend..that COULD DEFINITLY b in regards to his ex--i dont doubt that..but either way, he could at least explain it to me, dont leave me hanging!!!

Just give him a few days to figure everything out. I doubt he is dissing you. I am sure there is something going on in his life right now, and I am sure he will let you in fully after he sorts everything out. I bet he doesnt want to bother you with the details of what is going on, especially since you just started dating....So stop crying, and smile....Everything will be fine...

Hmmmmm -- tough situation indeed. Well, you're smart not to call him again. This weekend will tell the story no doubt. if he's really into he'll want to see you this weekend, IMO.

The hardest part is the waiting and anticipation - but - thinking about it - you both really seemed to like each other - you've had an amazing few dates - Just give it a little more time (I know that is hard) - try not to think to much into it.
And I have to agree the last part is a silver lining!!!!

This may sound a bit harsh, but I would take the mindset that you won't hear from him again. Go about your routine and plan your weekend. Do NOT blow other plans off that friends may offer you, in the hopes that he'll call, because if he doesn't, it'll make you feel worse.

Once you maske your plans, don't break them. If he calls after you've made plans, tell him, I hadn't heard from you, so I made plans. This will make you more 'attractive' to him and it won't give off the impression that you were sitting at home waiting for him to call.
