My swatch for my dress is in..things are getting done slowly. I'm going to pick up the swatch tonight, so I can get shoes finally, and then I'll be mainly done with all my dress stuff!!! I know these are little things but I'm excited!!!!

Okay - this is going to admit my cluelessness with wedding planning but how did you get the swatch - did youhave your first fitting already and this is leftover or was it ordered?

Also...where did you get your slip?

Re: I ordered my slip and...

I called BR of Carle Place and told them I needed it, they said we'll order it from the manufacturer, so they got it in this week..don't know how they do it, but I guess as they are making the dress they take a piece of the fabric and send it over.

I got the slip at bridalpeticoats.com
I got the full slip wiht the waist cincher....

That is so good to know!!!! This makes things so much easier if I can get it now - then I'll know what color my shoes and veil need to be! I am so glad you posted this today - and very happy that things are coming along for you!!!
