I think I might have to leave my fh...we just don't seem to share the same

taste in desserts! we had another cake tasting and he's not sure of this one either...and I like it. but of course since he's so involved, now we have to compromise

I want my cake and to eat it too!

Try this compromise. You get what you want for the wedding and then you can get him what he wants for his Groom's cake at the RD!

You scared me for a minute! But you'll get used to the differing tastes in desserts. My FH hates chocolate and I love it! But we get by somehow

You just reminded me....I need to go to Dortoni's and order some cake!!

Oh yeah, and I went to that cake tasting in the city that you went to also!! I brought home the leftovers to FH and we both decided on the chocolate mousse and raspberry!! (Except we may just stick with the cake the hall provides!!)

My cake, provided by JT (pics in review) was chocolate mousse and raspberry. It was beyond yummy!

I have to say that the one thing my FH was allowed (read:FORCED) to do was to pick the cake. Luckily, we have similar taste (yellow cake with cannoli filling with chocolate chips YUM). He picked the cake, the filling, and the decoration. It is his contribution to the wedding. Other than what he claims is 'helping by not helping so that we will still get married'.
