my fh is a teacher you have off in 5 more weeks

Seriously people!!!!! I don't have off again until Memorial Day weekend!!!!!!!! FEEL BAD FOR ME!

ETA: I agree with Marie... no one was attacking teachers for having amazing vacation time... My mom, sister, cousins and probably half of my friends are all teachers... I know you guys work hard but so do a lot of people... We may not know every last detail of what goes in to your day but we all have difficult things we deal with so it's not fair to say people who aren't teachers have it easier... I can't tell you what I've seen and had to help people through; suicide, sick and dying children, letting people go when you know they have no way to support a family, the death of a spouse, the discipline issues alone, abusive spouses, substance abuse problems, employees who have gone missing and I don't get to leave my work at my desk at 5:00, it comes home unless I'm in grad school until 11:00 two nights a week... these things take a toll too but I guess I don't deserve more than two weeks vacation??? My best friend's FW is a surgeon, she saves lives, works for multiple days straight, sleeps for just a few hours and does it all over again and she gets hardly any time off during the year... 4 weeks MAYBE. It's hard to say any one profession deserves more time off than another...

and to think I just complained about going back to work after being off a week. I wouldve complained no matter what field I was in. . I need to catch up on sleep and rest.
I didnt think it would cause so much drama with teacher, non teachers, etc.. I should have not mentioned the word TEACHER. I did not think it would start such drama!!! yikes

During wedding planning time it doesn't matter if you have a week or a month...you never get it done.

Just take a deep breath, plot out each thing that has to be done...and do it. If you can't...don't be afraid to ask for help. This the the most stressful time in your life...and also the most amazing.

Breathe, breathe and breathe. You have you have your bridal party, and if they are useless (which many are )...you have over 100 2010ers that will help you with the drop of a hat.
