I want to cut my hair short!!!!

ok, I know this is corny, but I just can't decide. I am getting mixed responses from friends and family. My DH says sure do it, but some others say no way!! What do you think? I am thinking just above the shoulders for now.

I did this right after college, and liked it. Some people said they like me better with long hair. I am so confused!! I hate blow drying it out every day!!!!

Ok, first of all, you're gorgeous so no haircut is going to change that.

Second of all, it's hair, it'll grow back! If you really want to do it, go for it. If you hate it, let it grow back.

Get it cut but do not go above the shoulders!!! Think about working out you want your hair to be able to fit into a pony tail without falling out! I would keep it just BELOW the shoulders!

I agree - you are so gorgeous that a haircut will not change that simple fact. I can visualize you with short hair and I think it would compliment you just as nicely as the long hair does

I am a bit biased - I love long hair (which is why I never part with mine), but if you truly want to cut it, I would go for it! I agree with Julie, maybe go just below the shoulders so its easy to pull up when working out, etc.

Sometimes doing it in stages is easier .. then you can always go back and trim more off in steps.

I had vowed I was cutting all mine off after the wedding, but now I'm holding onto it ... but again, this is b/c I really dont look good with short hair (according to everyone I know, anyhow!)

I have a pic of me in college with short hair, but that was ten years ago!!! I need to get it then scan it. I will look for it tonight.

I think you have a great dace for short hair.

If it is above your shoulders, you may not need to put it up, a headband may work find, or a headband & a baby pontail for the ends.

are you talking about short as in: 'stuck up against your head' ????

i wouldn't go that short (just not a personal preference for me) but some people can pull it off...

but a regular cut (so that it's maybe right under your ear, but not layered) would be great. that's my persoal favorite...

I am thinking more like just above the shulders. amybe a few long layers. I am just so bored and sick of this look. Take in mind that my wedding hair is a bit more together and finished than on a regular day! TH e last two pics are what I normally look like!

First of all - my first impression when I saw your first picture was WOW - she's beautiful -

I am not one for short hair - but you have a face that it probably wouldn't matter what you did, you'd still look beautiful - I hate girls like you! J/K

I know it is a pain to blow out hair - I have long hair too, but I love long hair -
Maybe try to the shoulders first - see how that is and if you want to cut more than go for it.

I would love to see pictures of you when your hair was short - to get the visual on which I like better!

I'm trying to picture you with short hair - what kind of style are you thinking of? Layered or all one length? I think you'd look great with all one length - you have such nice healthy hair and I think you'd be able to do a lot more with it then if it were layered.

I personally love your hair long, but show me some hair styles that you like maybe and that will help me vote

cut it! One of the things I am most excited about for after the wedding is just chopping my long hair off. Why not? It will grow back! you have a lovely long face that will work well with a short do. How about a choppy bob?

I agree, go for it! I'm gong to be cutting mine as soon as I find a style I like. My hair is down to my bra, so halfway down my back and I plan on going at least shoulder length, if not shorter. It's hair and it will always grow back. I know it can be scary, but it's also fun and exciting too.

I just had my post wedding chop and it was great!! But I have also always had short hair, only grew it out to my shoulders for the wedding. It is now at my ears with a kind of flippy back. LOVE IT!

Just remember it's hair, its grow back. I say go for it and have fun with it.

As someone who is constantly growing her hair out and chopping it off, I say go for it. It's nice to have a change once in awhile..it always gives me a nice boost when I do it! Everyone is right..you have a beautiful face, and will look great no matter what you do. I think something just above your shoulders that frames your face will look wonderful.

I think you look great with that 'do! will your hair lok like that though? I don't have any natural body, so it wouldn't look the same.
