I recently went to an event where I was put on the placecard as 'FH's Name & Guest.' Granted, we weren't engaged when we went to this said event, but we were together for over 3 years, so it wasn't like 'who is he bringing?'
Is it rude if I '& Guest' said person at my wedding (even though they are married), because I would really love to, just so she can see how RUDE it is...or am I just being a spiteful brat? haha
I think that would be really funny... but they'd probably think it was rude... Cash the check first! LOL

Re: If someone '& Guested' You...
Even tho the original post was done a few years ago, this topic is so interesting I had to respond.
I have been living with my FH for 14 years and we never planned on a wedding, this is just for kicks. I can't tell you how offended I have been throughout the years by different events where my name or my FH name was excluded. It is hurtful and I always felt that we were judged for not being married.
The way I am handling is to make sure that all serious couples are honored at my wedding - especially with names on invitations.
