I sorta did design my own ring. I sent FH a picture 2 years ago of the exact band I liked. I had never been able to find it in person, but I came across it online. 1 year later, FH went and had it custom made for me b/c no one he went to had the exact band. I have a brilliant stone in a basket setting with a pave band in platinum.
The only thing I'm a little 'eh' about is the basket setting. I may wanna change it to a high setting in the future b/c I feel like the basket setting takes away from the diamond a bit.

i looked for a pic in you albums and didnt see it butt I think you or fh are greek-- my God sister goes to St Pauls--- and I see you are having your wedding at oheka- I was wondering is by any chance they negotiates on the site fee with you, if of course you dont mind me asking--

I dont have any good pics of my ring. I did at one point and then I accidentally deleted the album and now I cant seem to get my camera to take one that is clear.
FH is greek - I'm mostly italian. We are having a traditional orthodox ceremony with a few variations at St. Paul's- which is a GORGEOUS church by the way.
As for Oheka - I will send you FM.

Wouldn't change anything about my ring!! I designed my ring and FH got exactly what I asked for.
1ct asscher cut diamnd. On each side is a baguette and round stone (each side stone is .25ct).

I wouldn't change a thing about my E-ring! I love it sooooooooo much!!!!! And now I have the wedding band to match... it is a pave diamond eternity band with about 200 pave diamonds all around the band... I am obsessed with it!

i finally know how to make an album on here but SOooooo dreading it because i have loads of pics on different comps, soon, though, i promise lol.

and yes, in my opinion, it DEF out sparkles the princess. this cut has so many facets, its just my dream. and some people call it cushion cut?? but either way, its just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I def recommend this style to you and everyone out there looking for e rings.
and YESssss I picked out the bands. the moment i got this ring i knew the type of bands i wanted with this. fh actually has it sitting in his safe, its 2 eternity bands, one on each side and it looks so pretty. i didnt want to take away from anything and when im not wearing the e ring in the center, ic an stack up the bands. if you get this style e ring i def recommend that look as well. and please keep us updated! you must be super excited! i cant wait to see yours!

yayy-- I am so excitedd I just have a little matching problem because I am obsessed with matching I wanted both of our bands to be the same (or almost the same)-- but if I pick the prong set band (which I love) it is the way yours is the fh's ring and mine will not match because a band like that is not masculine at all....but if I go with more of a channel set band on the E-ring like with the diamonds enclosed we could have matching bands-- but I honestly am not sure--- any opinions?

My ering was exactly what I wanted and I love the wedding band I picked out

omigod im really excited for you, too!! the matching issue will disappear when you put on that ring, TRUST ME! i kinda wanted to do that whole matching thing, too! but that idea went right out the window when i put this on. having the channel setting was not for me, i didnt like the platinum that was visible (even though it was suchhhh a tiny bit, i like the fact that you barely see the prongs in the setting its just like the diamonds are floating kinda, i cant explain it, but i think the prong setting is more elegant. but, thats not to say that channel setting wont be either. its def up to you. either way, i say def go with this look because you will love it forever and ever and DONT FORGET TO INSURE IT!!! i thought i lost it once and nearly died lol. keep us updated plzzzz cant wait to see. and if you need a good jeweler fm me. fh's dad knows a guy that owns a building in the jewelry district on or near 47th. xoxo
