I am having a small wedding about 70-75 ppl.
Our original budget was 10K but it looks like we will probably go over by 3G's.

me too exactly! This will be for about 175 people.

I think we are spending about... 10k total on DJ, photo, video, flowers, limo, and favors/donation

a wedding under 20k is DEF do-able depending on how many guests you have.

We came in right around budget. (We also had alot more no's than we should we would have so that saved us $2000!)

It all depends how many guests end up saying yes!!! Probably about $60K when everything is said and done

It really helps if you don't set a budget! LOL.

But all joking aside, I think mine will come out to be completely 'average', and probably around 28-30. I'm counting my e-ring as part of the itemized tally, but really shouldn't, and will not include HM because that's going to happen so far after the wedding. My ideal plan was stay at 10k or under for all non-RH vendors and associated costs (hair, makeup, stationary, postage, favors, etc.), and it looks like I might be hovering at that or just a tad over.

I'm not even going to post my total budge right now because I will be probally be laughed off the boards. But I will be WELL under $20K!!!! I'll post my grand total when I post my review.

I am a budget conscience bride and we are paying for the entire thing on our own. We are cutting out the unnecessaries (Like do you really need to do a slipper basket?) and you know what...I have no regrets!

I had orginally had a budget of about 25k and I think I am going to end up spending about 35 k with honeymoon.

FH & I are going to be about ummm say $11K or 12K .....we saved a lot of money by getting married on a Thursday ( Memorial Weedend Next Year) but we have not booked our video/photo people yet or flowers or DJ and with that I'm thinking maybe 12K absolute max

If we are counting every single dollar that goes into anything wedding related (like hair and makeup, shoes, postage for invites etc. and not just major vendors) its about 60k not including HM.

its funny b/c i wanted to spend about 35K and then it like tripled

when you are paying for every single thing yourself and you start adding in things like the jewelry, the headpiece, shoes, hair & make up, bridal party gits, invites, postage, i can go on and on and on down to theTIPS for vendors and all of those things add up REALLY quickly

BUT you will all be fine - everyone manages to do it somehow right?
