If you had more money in the budget what would you do

As of right now we are not getting limos and only have a 1 man DJ/MC. Now I was thinking since we havent gone over budget...UNDER ....should we get the limos, upgraded the DJ, get the wedding bands of our dreams, spend more on the HM, use it towards saving for a house or is there something else you can suggest we can use it towards.

Save it toward a house... how much wedding can you possibly have? A house is forever.

Def House. Thats what we are doing b/c my mom is paying for more then she said so we have more $ left over. We are putting it inot a CD (or what ever they call it that has high interests) and save for a house!

We're shopping around for HM and it seems that we're going to be spending at least $6k, which is alot!!!

But I could totally spend alot more!!

while planning this wedding and realizing how close we'd be to putting a down payment on a house or condo here in PA if we WEREN'T having this wedding, i'd definitely decide to save the extra money for a down payment. I'm happy we're having the beautiful wedding but I think I'll regret not having the money for a house!

I would save it towards a house, yes the wedding is what we all dream of, but for 6 hours and its over? a house you will have for much much longer

I want to but, have to work on FH. The funny thing is he would do it all out for the wedding but, yet doesnt want to spend the money on the wedding he'd rather the house. Does that make sense?!!?!?

It would have to be a toss up between house and Honeymoon... I honestly feel like I could save every penny I earn for the rest of my life and still not be able to afford a house so maybe in that case it would go to a honeymoon!

Im torn. I would love to have the money for a house so that would be my first option, but I dont think we are ready yet in general. I voted for putting more money towards the honeymoon. I see those pictures of bora bora and tahiti and I melt. It seriously looks like heaven!
