Hey ladies I asked 7 of my closet fam/friends to partake in my special day. One of my BMs asked me what expense would I be taking care of ex: Hair & Makeup, Nails, SO my question to you ladies what expenses will you be picking up for your BMs

i'm not paying for anything BUT i found affordable dresses for them ($99 each) and i'm telling them to wear any black heels that they want. Also, hair & makeup aren't required (though some of them want to get it done anyhow)

Personally I think thats the point of asking someone to be a bridesmaid instead of appointing bridesmaids...they know these things are involved im not MAKING anyone do their makeup or nails, I think I will ask everyone to get their hair done but I don't feel its my responsibility to pay, Also If anything the jewelry would be their gift, but I'd rather give them something more practical, everyone can buy fake rhinestone jewelry from macys for 20 bucks.

None of the above. All those things are optional for my ladies- hair, make-up, new jewelry/shoes, etc.

I'm buying them all gifts, and part of that gift is DOJ. They are responsible for the dress, shoes, hair, and makeup. Anytime I've been a BM that's what I was responsible for. I've never expected the bride to pay for those things.

I paid for it all!!! I felt that they were going out of their way for the bach. party, bridal shower and the wedding it was the least I could do.
