I'm so PO'd right now! I think you'd be too...

One of my BM's got engaged last month and ever since then she's been calling me and asking what I'm doing for this or what I'm doing for that. So today she calls me and tells me she came up last weekend (she moved out of state a few months ago) and looked at a few catering halls already. I was like 'ok, cool'. So I asked her which ones and she said she looked at Fox Hollow and Chateau Briand. I said did you like either? She said Fox Hollow smelled funny and Chateau Briand was on a main road. I was like 'I'm at Jericho Terrace and that's on a main road. There's nothing wrong with that b/c you don't see the street anyway.' She goes 'Well, that's okay for you and your guests. I'm looking for something better.' I WAS READY TO JUMP THROUGH THE PHONE AND KICK HER A**!!!!! I am so mad at her right now!!! I'm seriously considering telling her not to come to my wedding since it's not good enough for her!!! Wouldn't you be PO'd too??????

Tell her to open her mouth a little wider so she can insert her other foot. Even if she thought that-did she have to say that?

BTW-There's absolutley nothing wrong with Jericho Terrace!

She sounds like a biatch !!!! I would be royally pi$$ed off, who does she think she is?

I'm sorry you are going through this, I would tell her to not even bother coming to my wedding, but that is just me !!

Wait....this is one of your friends who said this? I would call or email her and let her know that you were really POed at her comment. Maybe she didn't realize what she was saying, sometimes people can be thoughtless, but you need to tell her that what she said was rude.
If she apologizes, let it go.

Quite frankly she is entitiled to her own opinions. Her taste will be different from your so don't be upset over that. This is quite not worth it.

Hey, hall twin! I love JT, and I like the fact that it is on a main road. I have a lot of OOT guests, and this is going to make it easier for them to find the hall. Besides, there is a little garden area inside where you can take your pics and you don't even face the street. What your BM said was really insensitive. Is she looking for an outdoor ceremony? Maybe that is why she's concerned about halls that are on a main road. But still, what she said was rude and completely out of line.

Goodness! She's starting rather early with the whole bridezilla thing, eh? BTW, I saw Jericho Terrace the first time when I went to visit Flower Michele and it is absolutely gorgesous!

Had I been on the phone I don't think I would have been able to control myself. Something better????? Just what exactly is that supposed to mean? I've never been to JT, but I've seen pics and it is lovely. Every LIW bride that has been there has raved about it.

Some people just don't think before they say something. I'd be PO'd too. She probably feels she is in competition with you now...is she a competitive person? Not that you should act that way towards a friend. That was actually pretty rude knowing you will be at JT. I hate people that feel the need to add their 2 cents just to make themselves feel better than you! I wouldn't give her any more details about your wedding. Who needs nasty people anyway!
