I'm sorry to Post this here, but i have an emergency UPDATED

if anyone can help PLEASE do.. im going crazy.....
tonight when i got home from work Tink did not greet me and she looked depressed and not at all herself. her tail was barely waggin and i could tell something was wrong. then she walked away and i could see she was limping slighty. so i tried to give her a treat.... she knows she has to 'dance' to get one and when she tried to do it she collpased.... then i gave her it and watched her walk away.. she tried to jump on her chair.... collapsed again.. and then the sofa.... i of course started to freak out. i walked ALL OVER Williamsburg looking for an open vet.... along the way i stopped into my job to show my coworker and Tink wasnt AS bas as she first was when i came home.... she still cant walk up stairs or jump on her cahir or couch.... i am going to observe her overnight since she is not crying in pain or anything like that...
i'm scared it may be pataller luxation.... has anyone had an episode like this???? i'm scared for my baby.

What do you mean by collapse? Like her legs went out from under her? She was unconcious? Has she had a shot recently?

OK... so i called a 24 hour vet and they said NOT to bring her in?!?! they said as long as she is not vomiting or diarreha to watch her and bring her to my vet in the morning.
i said OK.. i will wait til FH gets home from work and then see what he thinks.

i just was petting her on the couch and i got off and said 'c'mon tinky'.. and she jumped and again, her back legs are as if non-existant....

since she is nursing still and the pups have teath now she has horribe bite marks all obn her belly.... maybe she has nerve damage?

i will post pix as soon as i upload them...

So where i stand now:
wait til FH comes home and then take her to emergency hosp. or be at my vet down the block at 9 am sharp tomorrow morning.

this is her belly... i doubt this REALLY has anything to do with it.. but maybe????
she also had a couple of complications during birth.

(sorry to bother you guys with this)

i think im gonna have to take her in tonight. this isnt normal

I doubt she has nerve damage, but she may be really exhausted and sore from nursing. I think you would be fine to wait until tomorrow, but if you're really uneasy about it than you should get her checked out tonight.

i'm wondering if she could be enemic?? could that trigger the leg thing??
the latest she'd see a vet is 9am tomorrow.. she seems to be fine now.. so i'll play it by ear...

AWWWW>..her poor belly!!!!
I would watch her for a few more hours if possible, see if it gets any worse. If it stays the same, your more then likly ok to wait till the morning.

you mentioned you are in Williamsburgh, as am I.....isn't there an emergency vet on the north side...wythe ave I think????

She is in good hands with her mama, and the Doctor will tell you more tomorrow.
