if anyone can help PLEASE do.. im going crazy..... tonight when i got home from work Tink did not greet me and she looked depressed and not at all herself. her tail was barely waggin and i could tell something was wrong. then she walked away and i could see she was limping slighty. so i tried to give her a treat.... she knows she has to 'dance' to get one and when she tried to do it she collpased.... then i gave her it and watched her walk away.. she tried to jump on her chair.... collapsed again.. and then the sofa.... i of course started to freak out. i walked ALL OVER Williamsburg looking for an open vet.... along the way i stopped into my job to show my coworker and Tink wasnt AS bas as she first was when i came home.... she still cant walk up stairs or jump on her cahir or couch.... i am going to observe her overnight since she is not crying in pain or anything like that... i'm scared it may be pataller luxation.... has anyone had an episode like this???? i'm scared for my baby.

I came home to my dog (malitpo) like that one night went to the Er vet and found out he tore his ACL! It ended up healing itself and he is good as new but it was a tough recovery because the poodle in him always wanted to stand on his hind legs.
No clue about the rash...
Hope tink feels better

Tink could be hypocalcemic (sp?), which is problem with small breed post pardum females. See you vet asap. Are you feeding the mom puppy formula food (this helps prevent the hypocalcemia).
This condition can cause the paralysis.

This is just a possibility, your vet will definatley be able to treat her properly...you are a very intelligent woman, be sure you ask all the suspicion you have tomorrow. Most people don't know as much about animal medicine as you do, so I'm sure Tink will be fine. Keep us updated please.

Poor doggy! Poor you! I truly hope she will be alright. She's so tiny and probably exhausted and maybe dehydrated? from all that nursing? Poor baby. Please keep us posted. More hugs for you and Tink.

Something like this happened with Sandy few weeks ago. When we woke up the next morning she was fine.
I am so glad she is feeling better.

That's great..but her tummy looks horrible...shouldn't you take her for that just in case? It's Friday and I'd hate for something to happen over the weekend... Sorry to worry you but I always say 'better safe than sorry.' Good luck!

well i know.. i was thinking about that too... its actually a chitload of tiny bite marks.. cuz the puppies still nurse and have sharp teeth now... SO... i think what im going to do now... is REALLY start to try to give them as much puppy food as possible..so that they will want to nurse less.. i have begun to ween them anyway... but im going to make sure they are a week ahead of the game. Usually puppies are FULLY weened by 8 weeks old... but i am going to make sure they are FULLY weened by at least 7 weeks old. Of course they need to nurse still... but i am going to make it a less as possible. Poor thing.
