I was supposed to go to the nuerologist today (someone who i had seen already for headaches last year) and im supposed to go at 12 and they JUST called me to tell me that hes not taking patients today cause its the holiday!! ARE THEY CRAZY!!! i mean, come on.. you knew the holiday was going to be today before you made my appt... this stinks, and im not feeling good at all today i have the same pain as i had on sunday!! now i have to wait another week!! i asked the receptionist to have him call me if she talks to him.. who knows if she will... i cant go see someone else cause i could only do this on my lunch hour!! im more than upset!
OK, My REGULAR MD is calling in a precription for me!! THANK GOD!! i love that man!!!! so hopefully when i get home frank will have gotten it and i will feel better.. think i am going home at 5pm today!

Suzanne - have you tried any migraine meds? Imitrex? Zomig? anything like that? I give myself the injections and they work GREAT!

Sweetie, you might have a sinus headache due to teh weather. I know I did this morning. Do you feel any pressure on the bridge of your nose and temples? go buy sudafed for sinus (it's a 12 hour non drowsy caplet). See if that helps. Take it w/tylenol or advil.

Suzanne - I get headaches in the back of my head too - from muscle tension. Does the base of your skull at the back of your head feel really tender, like it's bruised? And does the pain wrap around the side of your head to your temples? That's a tension headache. Try the moist heat thing - warm wet towel around your neck. See if that helps until you get to a Dr. Try Aleve too. It's awesome.

suzanne: His name is Dr. Friedmann on commack road. I forget the name of the office, but his name is in the book. Where do you live? You can just find a clinic by you in the phone book. They do accept ins. I've had no problems.

I think this is horrible.. i cant believe he canceled the appt 2 hours before i am supposed to be there!! WHAT NERVE!!!
So, now i called a slew of other dr.s and because im a new patient i have to wait until the END OF MAY??? holy crap!! whats that about.
I called my medical dr. and hes going to call me back when morning hours are over..so he has time to talk to me.. i hope he helps me cause if he doesnt im thinking of throwing my body off a bridge, but not before KILLING that stupid ass dr. I HOPE THAT THEY NEVER EVER NEED A FAVOR FROM US (cause my husband even helped him with his pc!! )

Suzanne - I am so sorry you are still feeling so bad
This dr. is rude. Regardless of who he is, or who he knows, it is not professional of them to cancel 2 hours before you appt. I would start looking for another doctor and forget this guy. My own dr has told me several times, if doctors treat you badly, get another one, they are not worth it!!!

Dani!! sometimes it hurts so bad, i wish i had a left over of vicoden!!!!
I just called this Dr.s father who is a VERY good nuerologist, and they had a falling out not to long ago.. and they said they would see me monday cause hes not in until then (which i totaly understand) and they also said 3 other people called today too from the office i was supposed to go to!
So now i just have to make it through the next couple of days...
