Invitation Timeline - What's yours?
A couple questions regarding your invitations:1. How far in advance of the wedding are you sending them?
2. How far in advance of the wedding are you requesting all RSVPs by?
I'm asking for an RSVP 5 weeks before the wedding and will prob send invitations 10 weeks before the wedding.. I'm curious if this is the norm :)

From the consultations we received, it seems like the norm for us would be an RSVP date of 9/1/2014 for 10/4/2014 wedding, which means invites out by 8/1/2014 the latest, so really the last week in July. She explained that this means we need to order by Spring, approve proofs by summer, etc. HTH!

For a Dec. 7th wedding I ordered in August, RSVP date 11/1 and sent them out on Sept. 27th. We had a bunch delivered 2-2.5 weeks after we sent, so I would definitely recommend sending early!

I just finalized my invitations and the lady said send them 10 weeks prior, this way if you have a B list those people won't know. And I believe my RSVP date is 5 weeks before my wedding

Re: Invitation Timeline - What's yours?
I'm gonna start looking at invites in March. I guess I'll send it out in mid August for a late October wedding. Is that good?

Our plan is send them for 11/2 or 11/9 not quite sure which yet, RSVP by 12/7 and wedding is 1/18. We don't want to get lost in the holiday shuffle. That gives us a 4-5 week RSVP time frame and puts them 10-11 weeks from the wedding date.

I think that if it is 10/25 you could get away with sending 8/16, which puts you at the 10 week mark and have them RSVP by probably 9/20 or 9/27. That gives them 4-5 weeks for response.

I already got my invitations for my 4/26 wedding. I put 3/14 as an RSVP date. I plan on sending them out mid January.

This always confused me, lol. So you will send them 10wks out but then when will u send the B list (if needed)? It seems like people wait til the last minute to RSVP, so how long would u wait to send out the B list invites? And would their RSVP be the same as the A list? Hope this makes sense, haha. We want to try to stay at our 150 minimum so we have a B list as well. I guess when I'm closer to doing invites someone can help me out.
