Invitation wording

OK I need help here

Firstly, We want to list both sets of parents
Secondly, FH hates 'request the honor of your presence' and 'at the marriage of / wedding of'

I am at a loss - I would have been happy with request the honor of your presence', and I am just drawing a blank

Does anyone have examples we would use?

have you checked www.verseit.com they are really good! I have other sites if you need other suggestions and there are even sites where you can insert your information and view the wording with your names!

If you are having a less formal event than you can pick tons of phrases, but if you want a more traditional, formal invitation then you should stick with 'requesting' text. Are you or your parents issueing the invite?

I would like more formal / traditional wording, but I guess thats just what I am used to seeing.
