$4.25 each for invite, RSVP card with addressed envelope, RH direction card and hotel reservation card. An additional $25 to have all the outside envelopes addressed and my return address put on it.

That sounds like an awesome price...where did you get them from?
We were looking at pocketfold as well.

Re: invite $ question

I originally was going to go cheap, maybe DIY, then my photographer offered them at his cost. I confirmed today, we are paying 1/2 the price that is marked in the book. I am excited because we looked through both books and actually agreed on one, very easily. It isn't top line, but we love them. It is old fashioned black and white style with a boy and girl. It is going to cost us about 80 in total for 125 invitations and a little bit more for the response, etc..

Re: invite $ question

Our invitations were expensive but they were the ones we loved and they definately made a statement because everyone keeps telling us how much they love them.

We sent out scroll invitations and i went to alot of places and received a lot of samples before we were 100% happy with the ones we chose.

The invitation came to apprx 14.00 each and then the postage was 1.81 because we mailed then out in tubes. The 1.81 doesnt include the .41 cents on the return address.

Some places i priced out for the same invitation wanted 17.00 without postage so i was happy to save on that.

Hope this helps

Re: invite $ question

I'm not sure how much per invite, but I bragged about my fabulous deal a few weeks ago. David's Bridal online was doing free shipping AND then there was this 20% off deal, so I saved what felt like a lot of money. I believe 100 invites with envelopes was like $168 or something. My invites don't have RSVP envelopes though, they have the perforated card thing which saves you stamp money - I think you can get post card stamps for them. We have to tie ribbons to each one. Eek!

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something people will just throw out and they look really pretty and I'm a simple girl, so they fit me.

Re: invite $ question

I am going with Pippy Sweets and it has been a great experience. I think that I am paying either 4.75 (if the invites are double backed + actual pocket) or 5.25 (if they are triple backed). Her work is really beautiful and very customized, which I love. She is also super super nice. I think postage willbe about $1.00. Lastly, we are doing our calligraphy with Wendy Trout and I think its 1.50. Wow that really adds up. The only thing about Pippy is you have to do flat writing.... How many of you girls have flat, letterpressed, engraved, etc?
