is anyone else in denial over having to change their names?

since being engaged I feel like I refuse to admit I will be changing my name soon.

I want to take FH's name bc I always thought I would take my husbands last name for the sake of our future kids etc. but i just hate his last name and like can't accept the fact that it will be mine soon.

people will jokingly call me by his last name and im like UGh no!

i dont wanna have different names and hypenating would be too long. I have tried to get FH to take my name but he's not into that

I am gonna have to face the facts soon!

it makes me a little sad
ive had this name for over 34 years
plus fh last name is polish
i so dont look polish

lol for some reason everyone i work with asks me if im spanish.. apparently according to them i look spanish and i always say no.. well now ill have a spanish last name lol they are gonna think im lying
