Liz fall asleep and if anyone asks just say you were not sleeping you were deep into your prayers. Or you could say you were meditating because it helps you to stay focussed and be on top of things at your job.

One of the guys that was here told me he had his head resting on his hand and fell asleep. His phone rang and that woke him up. If it didnt ring he would have still been sleeping.

I work with a bunch of funny people....

I wish we could leave early--instead me and a coworker are complaining about working and getting absolutely nothing done. Only 2 hours to go.

I wish you were my boss too Chippa!! And looking at the clock you must be on the way out the door!! I just heard one of the attorneys in my office tell my boss that he can't work late tonight because he has tickets to a show and the boss is like, this is the first I'm hearing and we have important deadlines, blah, blah- and p.s. - its the poor guy's birthday!!!

They let me leave 15 minutes early.... but finally, I'm home! And I'm still on this site - I just can't get enough!

I spent practically all day on here/online yesterday! I am the only person on one whole side of our building...its pretty nice, no one knows when I come and go! Kinda wish it was like this everyday! PLUS, I finally got to that little pile that sits at the corner of my desk that everyday I say to myself...I gotta do something about that.

I have people walking around dazed and asking me questions. Do I look like I know everything. I swear I am going to hang a sign on my desk that reads 'please approach if you have a legitamate question' 'No I do not know when we are getting milk' 'No i dont know why we have 4 packets of creamer left' 'No I dont know who made the coffee this morning'

One of the horrible things I must face by having my cubical in the front.

Its going to be a long day, but at least I have this to keep me busy

My boss is 'creating' work for me to do today - I can tell I'll be on here all day long again!

its pretty good to work for nice people. I've worked with jerks and even bigger jerks and its nice to be here.

I had one boss that you could set your watch too that every day he asked either me or the other admin to order him lunch. Everyday he did this. It got so annoying. He really abused his power and his admin's. Glad he was fired.

I had a boss that all she did was complain about every little thing. Her window had a smudge on it and she yelled at building maintance because of the smudge, one person had her radio on below a whisper (the girl could barely hear it) and the boss yelled at this woman how she is disturbing everyone around her. She was horrible to work for.

Why is it senior management works so hard to get where they are then take advantage of ebeing there.

I think sometimes a person's title interferes with the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain and causes them to act like a total a$$.

I worked for one guy who could win an award for being the nastiest person alive - the building had a FIRE and everyone evacuated but him - minor fire, no real big deal, but still - when we went back into the office he said 'you didn't see me running out of here w/ my tail between my legs, you cowards.' I hated him so much I couldn't even look at him!

Now that has got to be the worst boss ever. A FIRE for goodness sake.


I work with great people. This is my first job out of college and when I hear these stories I am scared to death to leave my job. Though I must say the people here are so nice that a lot of times we take advantage.

On 9/11 I was suppose to be going to 3 WFC to pick something up, but was running late that morning. I would have been in the towers or walking through the plaza during impact. Instead I was still on the train. I ran to my office on Wall Street, made 3 calls and went home. Ever since if I hear fire alarms I am gone. Going Home.

At my old company I was asked to be the fire warden I said HELL NO! Then one day the alarms starting ringing (it was a false alarm) and everyone is waiting by the fire exits for instructions and I was halfway out the building. Fire alarms ring I am gone. Going Home. SEE YA!

I agree once a big title comes into play, oxygen doesnt make it to the brain.
