FH went to film school and is going back to school to be an art teacher and he's not like, artsy in an artsy way but he's not a man's man either. He doesn't drink beer, is bored by most sports and doesn't like having guys night out or anything like that. He's not a mush, either, though. I don't know, just wondering if anyone else's man is not so much like a GRRR MAN. haha.

My hubby was part of the National Art League since he was a kid until like 19 or something. He was a great painter but then he left it. He tells me all the time that he wants to go back because he misses it.

My husband also doesn't like to drink beer, doesn't have guys night out and hates sports. He loves cars though.

My FH is artsy - went to art school and he's more quiet than your average guy but he still drinks beer and watches football. D@mmit.

Tell him to go back! FH is still more into making documentaries and what not but he loves kids so much and wants to teach in an elementary school, so he will soon be an art teacher. He is so talented in so many ways, I love it!

mine's artsy/creative, though different than yours. While Al's not into watching sports on TV, he's very into doing them, especially things like : rock-climbing, hiking, kayaking, camping, squash, kite-surfing, etc.
He definitely enjoys drinking, beer included and enjoys a fun night out with the boys. He likes building things and has a ton of tools and gadgets.
He's also very musical - he plays guitar, sax, harmonica, piano.
He's definitely not the macho type - which is fine by me!
My mom calls him the renaissance man, which decribes him pretty well. His appreciation for art, culture, wine, romance and the good ole' boy stuff too.

My DH hardly drinks and could car less about sports. He's a little into Nascar racing. He is an artist in terms of drawing and writing poetry!!! He is biggest pastime is Motorcycles!

Yeah, FH and his guy friends TRY to have a guys night every now and then, but they get bored and come home. They're just not like that. None of them drink beer and they hate sports. But instead, I have to listen to them discuss movies all night, I don't know which is worse!

Wow...I feel like my DH and yours are twins. My husband is the same way. A night out to him is going out to eat and watching a movie. He loves movies and know every line from all his favorits and we collect tons of movies and stuff.

Oh tell me about it, I have to give up closet space for all the DVDs and videos! But it's what he loves and he actually watches a lot of them, thankfully I don't have to all of the time! I love movies, but a little is enough!
