So...the topic of the day is Randy making fun of people who live in Mastic/Shirley area. He called them all white trash. Granted, I grew up in Mastic Beach. I went to William Floyd, and even I would NEVER move back to mastic beach/shirley area. I know my granfather still lives in Mastic and has a beautiful home on a nice block. My in-laws live in Shirley and have the best block in the world with great neighbors. Like every town, there is the good and the bad, look at Brentwood, Belport, etc.
Its just funny that he was joking and it has spun into this huge controvery. Is anyone else listening? I stream WBLI live from the internet in my office.

Apparently this got really heated on air yesterday! Randy has been suspened. It made Newsday (see link below) and was also on New 12 last night!! NEWSDAY LINK
OHHHHHH now I am OFFENED!! WHITE TRASH!! That offends me! I agree there are 'bad' area's everywhere

Hey now, I'm a Medford girl! I lived in Eagle Estates till I was 16, then we moved to the 'Old Medford' section which is nicer....
