My FMIL took that into her own hands (as many other things) without asking and made me a (ugly) purse to go with our (ugly) cake topper

Mine also came with the dress. Maggie Sottero usually has a matching purse with all her dresses!

someone might give you one as part of a shower gift... but if you like one in particular then get it..afterwards you can even dye it another color for reuse

Mmmmm... Guess I need a purse...esp. with no BP! AGhhh add another thing to that darn list!

I may carry one so I don't have to bother my MOH or a BM for stuff like chapstick, etc. My mother told me not to bother buying one - she said that either her or my grandmother would make one for me instead.

I will need a purse!! I want to keep my lipstick and compact very close to me that day!!

I don't think i will. I'm not going to carry ti around during the wedding or the reception. just gunna make a bag and leave it with my best friend and she'll be in charge of getting anything i need

I didnt get one, and I didnt need one. So, I wouldnt worry about it. I used my bridal suite when necessary!
