I am trying to think of ways to maybe cut a few more corners and am just wondering if any one else has considerd opting out if video

Re: is everyone doing video
I think I am just going to have my uncle video the ceremony. He is a really great and artistic photog, has all his own equipment and loves to do that kind of stuff anyway, so I figure if he is willing to do it then I will still have the memories, but it won't be so expensive!

we are doing video only bc there are certain things i want to have on tape.. EX our vows, toasts, first dances. pictures cant capture those things the way i want. but if you dont need a video you can def cut it out.

we are going with video.
we thought about not getting it.. but realized with the craziness of the day.. it will be fun to have something to watch and maybe see some of the things we missed.

Re: is everyone doing video
I can't decide
I change my mind constantly when it comes to video.
On one hand, i don't want to spend the money, especially since N.O most of the videos are really corny.
On the other hand, I want the memory.
I think I might have found somone that will do it for $600. I'm going with a friend of mine to check them out next week.

I couldn't imagine NOT getting video.
It's funny cause that was more important to me then the photography. I had to choose the video I let FH choose who he wanted for photography haha
But Denise...AG works with someone else?? Never knew that?
NO SHE doesn't do video. On her site timeless treasure is a recommended vendor but im going with a different videographer, probably gonna book pennylane

Re: is everyone doing video
i am only doing video cause the package price was so good at WW
I'm not doing the 'traditional' video, I'm just not into the way they are shot or edited and have no interest in wasting my money on it. Our family is big on home videos....so my bro will be taping the ceremony, then we're just going to pass around the video camera.
Should be interesting to see what comes out of that
we are but then again our package comes with it automaticly but i would have done it anyway cause in years to come in case anyone in my family passes on i have a great memorie of them in action
