Is it true-do you really cry?

Did you really cry when you found your dress? Or did your mom? If that hasn't happened, do you think you should keep looking?

I am soooo not a crier and I did not cry but knew it was the dress. My mom cried, but she cried but it was the first dress I tried on and she would have cried if I tried on a white sheet first.

nah, not everyone cries to show emotion. i don't think it's a necessary part of deciding on a dress at all.

no, i didn't cry. i didn't come close to crying, even though i cry easily.

yes, i was overjoyed with my dress. and i still love it each time i go to try it on. but none of us cried--not me, my mom, aunt, friends etc--and i'm a pretty emotional person.

but others are different and react to things differently. i wouldn't say it's normal or abnormal to cry. it's a personal thing.

I'm not a crier - there were no tears; just smiles.

I didn't cry, but my best friend did.

I think I was in too much shock that I actually found a dress that I loved to cry.

I didn't cry until I saw the price tag.....j/k

I didn't cry, and my mom didn't cry either. But, my mom, the saleswoman and everyone else in the store (including another bride's family that was there) could not stop raving about it when I had it on, and kept telling me the dress was ME. So I figured what the hell.

Although I do confess when I went to another salon and saw a much CLEANER version of my gown, I did fall in love with it again!!

I didn't cry and neither did my mom. We both knew it was the one though...because I picked it in April and my wedding was in May...and mom had a lot of work to do...so I guess she almost cried. But for very different reasons!

Cry or not...I think you def get a feeling.

sasha i just dont know how u held up through that!!! but it was well worth the stress, your dress was stunning!!!

as for me, I didnt cry, i was just super super giddy! my mom, who i thought would cry immediately, didnt until kleinfelds had me out infront of the mirror, put a tiara on my head and then a veil and gave me fake flowers, i turn around and my mom was sobbing! then i got all choked up

but because u dont cry definitely does not mean it isnt the one!

I didnt cry. Mom didnt cry. I think I will cry when I have my dress on in the right size. When I tried on the sample. I look like I was in a sausage casing. I mean I am not fat but I wear a size 10 and I am tall. Bridal sizes are about two sizes smaller that regular sizes so when I get my dress. It will be a 14. In the picture below you can see every bump and crease - my sister took that picture in the reflection of the mirror at the salon.

My sister tried on at least 50 dresses in 20 different stores. When she cried, I knew she had finally found her dress.

When I tried on my dress (it was the first one) I kept looking in the mirror and repeating, it can't be this easy. I went to two other salons and tried on about 10 other dresses, but I just kept comparing them to that very first dress, and they all fell short in comparison.
