Hmmm, what portion of this is the rental of the facility? If you're not paying for the facility $82.10 pp is REALLY high for a chicken entree/cheese display and wine and beer. Are taxes and services charges included already?

I have to agree. The price is good but you are not getting alot with it. I think you can definitely go to another RH and for that price have the full CH, sit down dinner with lets say 3 entree's and full bar.

ITA - I am paying a little more than double that for double the people at my RH and getting a crazy amount of stuff.

I dont think its unrealistic. There are ALOT of ladies who are paying $75 per person at a regular RH with full CH, and choices of entree's. Of course the time of day and day of the week and month will also make a big difference. There are some girls who even have paid $65 pp.

I agree with Ms. Espo. Your budget is NOT unrealistic. You just have to be willing to compromise and bend a litlle. Are you flexible with dates? Just know that Jan- Mar is an off season for RH AND other Vendors so you can save all the way around. I am getting married in Feb'09 and I'm having a Sunday evening wedding 7pm-12:30am, I am having anywhere from 75-90 ppl. I only had to guarantee a min of 60ppl. I am having a CH with whole bunch of passed hot hor d'oeuvres, 5 hot chafing dishes, followed by a full sit down dinner including appetizer, 3 choice of entree, dessert AND wedding cake. All white glove service, valet parking AND FULL OPEN BAR for the ENTIRE affair. Also, a bottle of wine on each table during reception. There are so many other services that are also included but this was just to give you an idea. I am only paying $55.00pp which when i heard that price I almost fell out of my chair. It has also allowed us to increase our guest list. With tax and gratuity it comes to about $72.00pp. So it is possible to get almost everything you want but you just have to bend a little. But IMO i think you're paying a little too much and not getting enough.

ETA: Also, whether you book this place or go elsewhere, find out if they give discounts for children and vendors. My RH is 1/3 off for children and vendors once my minimum is met.

I really think you should look around more....

Have you tried restaurants like the Snapper Inn, Riverview, or Irish Coffee Pub??
I know the snapper is about $80 per person with 5 hours, full CH, full bar, cake, choice of entrees, ect.

Wine and beer for only 3 out of 5 hours doesn't sound much like a deal to me. And no CH? I really think if you search around you can find something comparable for nearly the same price.
