Honestly, it is really hard to give you some advise. A lot of good 'comments' have been made. The only one I could tell you is... take your time and don't jump too fast.
Now, I am not sure how you can love someone after 7 weeks. As harsh as it sounds, there is a difference between 'lust' and 'love'. The excitement of a new relationship as new as it is is not going to show each other who YOU or HE are really as a person.
FH and I did not have any rebound relationships and were honest with ourselves in term of our feeling for previous relationships. Within 3 months we kinda knew we wanted to be together. He proposed 7 months after we first met. Everybody thought we were rushing. As great as the relationship as been (we never had an argument), I don't think I would have said yes to a proposal after 7 weeks. I don't think 7 weeks is enough to know someone but you get a pretty good idea after 6 months (in my opinion).
Red flags: he still cares about how she feels, he still talks to her, his parents are pressuring him to get married, he proposed after 7 weeks.
I agree with this.

Thats good news!!!
DH have now known each other for 3 years, and I still learn new things about him - 7 wks we knew we loved each other ad knew we wanted to get married, but also knew we had to take things a little slower to make sure its not just puppy love!
