So, I figured out that I would like all my bridesmaids, including MOH's to wear their hair to the side curled with a rose in their hair AND silver shoes.
My sister said that it may be asking too much from people. Ummmm, I don't see the big deal at all.
Depending on the cost, I may even pay for their hair (depending on cost).

Also, I have a huge pet-peeve regarding inconsistency. Meaning, I want everyone to look the same across the board. I just don't want my wedding pics containing different looks, etc..

it sounds beautiful....IF you did end up paying then not 1 person could say a word, but u know no matter what someone is going to say something, remember it is YOUR day!!!

Considering the fact that I have the exact same demands, NO not a zilla at all lol! My girls will have a flower in their hair and side ponies as well lol.I think ppl saying they don't like how they look is ridiculous. I would wear a baseball hat if I was told too. Its not about me, its not my day, who cares if I look good. I don't care about the shoe style just the color.. None of my girls have short hair, none of them can look bad no matter what. All of my girls are ok with it. They like it actually.. But I have ocd and I need it to be uniform! I want an army lol! I'm kidding but serious!

Youre right it's not their day and yes they should s uck it up and do what you ask BUT that doesnt mean that they will like it or feel comfortable. Personally I felt that if my girls werent comfy with the way they looked that they wouldn't look happy and I didnt want pssed off faces in my photos! I also wanted them to look like them and not like cookie cutters lol

Lol...You are such a nice bride- letting your ladies do what they want. I was thinking maybe they should do their make-up a certain way, but I did think that crossed the line. You see, I'm nice. Actually, this is bad- I'm planning on giving them a nice white gold necklace, which must be worn on my wedding as a gift. Lol. Hence, the consistency!! lol. I.am.going.to.hellll!!! lol.

Ok ill say that I probably wouldnt like for someone to tell me how to do my hair bec im very picky on my hair/makeup but id probably bite my tongue and go along with it lol Its what you want. My girls are doing whatever they want with their hair they are using my hair lady.

Thanks Ladies. I told my sister- it's too bad, it's what I want!! LOL. Maybe the reply was zillaicious, but it's not like I'm telling them to shave their heads. lol.

I really think it'll look so hot with their hair to one side and a rose in it. My centerpieces are all roses and my colors are red/wine and gold. The groomsmen are wearing a red rose so it'll look so awesome!!

I don't think that it is bridezilla at all I like a consistent look as well. Although I'm not as strict with the hair all 7 of my girls must have their hair pulled back off their face. Some of them aren't happy because they want their hair down but hey pics are at the beach its windy. Remember: It's your day and they will do the same when its theirs

I think it's ridiculous to judge others' opinions when that's what the OP was asking for.

I don't think it's bridezilla, i mean my girls would do what I asked.

Personally, I'm paying to have everyone's hair done, but it doesn't have to all be the same. The hair lady will just do what she thinks looks best.
I am also giving the girls feather pins to wear in their hair.

In regards to shoes, I will probably just pick a color and a style (ie. strappy) since I know I have a friend who has really bad feet and she has to wear wide shoes and some things may not be easy for her to wear.
So each girl will pick their on shoes. They are wearing long gowns so you won't even see their shoes really.

What are you talking about? Who is judging other peoples opinions?

MY OPINION is that when bridesmaids cause a scene because they dont like how they look its stupid. Even If you feel uncomfortable with your hair up, im pretty sure you can deal with it for a day. Like i said, I would do whatever the bride wanted with my hair.

ETA: I didnt even read your original post until right now. I was talking about complaining bridesmaids in general.

I'm with you girl! I don't know what it is, but it urks me when there are many different looks w/n a bridal party. To each there own. It's funny you referred your bridesmaids as an army- I actually said something similar this weekend. lol.

NW crashing...I don't think it's bridezilla-ish but if I were a BM, I would not be happy about the hair at all. I don't look good at all in a side ponytail and I would feel like an idiot and I think the pictures would reflect my unhappiness. I think asking the girls to put their hair up and incorporating a flower into it might be nice, but asking for them to all look like carbon copies of each other might be a bit much. Just my honest opinion though...

Good point. Actually, FMIL suggested something similar to you. Basically, let them do there hair as they wish and incorporate a rose in their hair. Honestly, I would prefer either hair all up over different styles though.
