ok all my BMs are paying for thier own dress and i am not picking any dress over 160 but i am not giving any of them a chocie ... i feel its my day and they should wear what i want and waht i like!!! is that bridezilla of me??? ... i know i would wear whatever a bride told me to wear even if i didnt like it cause its her day not mine!!!

I don't think that is bridezilla of you at all. Trust me I have been in at least 10 weddings and never did I have a say in what the dress was. Only for my brother's wedding. I was the MOH so I helped my sil pick the dress...but only after she decided on a few 1st. You are the bride...it's your day so you can pick whatever you want. I'm sure whatever you pick will flatter everyone's figure.

i think it really depends i mean, i understand its your day, but they should feel comfortable as well i really think its important to take people's body types (weight, chest) into consideration
i would NEVER want to make anyone feel upset or self-conscious that day

It's not bridezilla of you at all!! It's your day and what the girls wear is a reflection of you. All my girls are wearing different dresses (same color/material) and so far no one has picked out anything that I didn't like. If they did - I would absolutely tell them-and they would have to live with it. They accepted the invitation to be in the wedding and they should respect our wishes!

no it's not! i'm doing the same thing! i already sent pics and informed them of the cost of the dress. I also told them that if they can not afford then it's okay to back out now. i've been in weddings were i paid for a dress the bride wanted us to wear and it was never a problem. ultimately, it's your day so you're entitled to have it your way.

i would give the girls an option to to back out if they wanted too ... i really honestly feel if i want them to wear some neon pink and yellow dress they should have nothing to say except smile and say ok if thats what you want!!!

not bridezilla, mine arent getting a choice, they are paying for their own , but im allowing them to pick their shoes as long as they are black, its honestly been like that for every wedding ive stood up for, its not out of the norm...

I totally agree with you. Yes, your wedding day is 'your' day, but your BMs are girls you care about!

true i did send a pic first and asked what everyone thought and told them id keep looking if they hated, but all loved it! so it worked out. I also tried to pick a black cocktail dress they can wear again, think that helped

just the fact that u don't want them to spend more than 160 show that u are not a bridezilla. a bridezilla would not even care. besides, ur BMs should trust ur judgement & taste. it's not like ur gonna make them look stupid on purpose.

its def not bridezillaish. I didn't give my girls the option. All my girls loved their dress so it turned out ok. Its your wedding, they will understand when they get married...Plus its not like you are asking them to spend $200!

i dont think your being bridezilla at all I am going through the same shiitt with my BM's one wants strapless, that same one doesnt want any bows and she also likes pastels, so when i tell her im doing a dark plum aubergine she is not happy and i can tell.
I havnt picked my dress yet, so i havnt even decided theirs yet. but i feel i will be posting something venting in the near future

I am sorry you have to go through that. My BM are really great. They said whatever I want they will do its my day. I wish everyone else BM's can be like that this way you won't have the added stress, not that they are doing it on purpose but it would just be easier for you.
